A part of the Eastern Himalaya, Sikkim is notable for its biodiversity, including alpine and subtropical climates, as well as being a host to Kangchenjunga, the highest peak in India and third highest on Earth. Sikkim's capital and largest city is Gangtok.

Itinerary

Day 1

Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station to Gangtok

Arrival - Guest will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) – He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Gangtok . Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2

Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake and Nathula pass.

07:00: Breakfast at the hotel
07:30: Excursion to Tsmogo Lake (12,400 ft, 34km). Lake is 1 km long, oval in shape and 50 ft deep. Here you can find snowfall & Yak Riding. Visit legendary Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass (14,400 ft) Indo-China Border.
NOTE: Nathula Pass depends upon permit availability on the additional cost of Rs. 3,000/- per vehicle including permit fee. The permit is issued on the same day of travel.
17:00: Back to Hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 3

Gangtok to Lachung ( New Road )

08:30: Breakfast at the hotel
09:30: Proceed to Lachung (8858 ft, 118 km).
One the way visit Seven sister waterfalls.
17:00: Check-In at Hotel. Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 4

Lachung to Yumthang Valley - Gangtok

07:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
07:30: Drive to Yumthang Valley (Alt 11,800 ft), 24kms an Alpine flower valley. Enjoy the scenic landscape and Hot spring.
Optional tour to Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point close to Tibet Border (Alt 15,000 ft, 23 km from Yumthang) for Indian tourists only (at extra cost 4000/- per vehicle on prior notice).
14:00: Drive back to Lachung for lunch. Drive towards Gangtok.
20:00: Overnight stay at Gangtok

Day 5

Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi & Ravangla

08:00: Breakfast at the hotel
08:30: Proceed to Pelling (7,200 ft, 115 km).
On the way visit Namchi - Samdruptse and Siddheswar Dham. Reach Ravangla (6,800 ft), you can get a good view of Mt. Narshing and visit Buddha Park. Proceed to Pelling.
16:00: Check In at Hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 6

Pelling local tour

08:30: Breakfast at the hotel
09:00: Start for full day sightseeing visit Darap Village, Rimbi Water Falls, Kanchenjunga falls, Khechopari Lake. It is one of the sacred Buddhist lakes and it is believed that whatever is wished in front of the lake comes true. The myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird. Post lunch visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruins & Chenrize Statue and Skywalk.
16:00: Pelling sightseeing ends. Overnight stay at Pelling

Day 7

Pelling to Darjeeling

07: 30: Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30: Transfer to Darjeeling 6700 ft / 115 km / 5 hrs.
Evening free for the local market visit. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 8

Darjeeling sightseeing

04:00: Drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak) (subject to clear weather), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasay Loop.
09:30: After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) and Japanese Temple (4 hrs from 9.00 to 13.00 hrs).
16:00: Evening free for shopping and personal activities. Overnight stay at Darjeeling

You can book Darjeeling toy train from IRCTC website/ timing after 1 pm.

Day 9

Darjeeling to Mirik & night stay at Darjeeling

08:00: Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00: Excursion to Mirik Lake an excellent scenic spot, nestled in forested hills at an altitude of 5800 ft, 43 km. On the way trip to Pasupati Market (Indo – Nepal Border).
17:00: Evening free for shopping and personal activities. Overnight stay at Darjeeling

You can experience boating & horse riding in Mirik lake/payable on the spot.

Day 10

Drop to Bagdogra airport

Drop to Bagdogra Airport according to schedule. Tour Ends.
